Eh,

so for the first time in my life, I'm not in the most advanced class for a subject (math). Second-tier. Even though I couldn't take it along with taking the two most advanced science courses available simultaneously, I still feel inadequate. I especially feel like this is going to be glaring on my highschool transcript. Anyone ever been in the same situation? Anyone ever gotten into a top-tier college despite not taking the most advanced class in one subject?

I have no math this year. i'm not going to a top school though.

So, what are the specifics?

10th grade I couldn't because of scheduling issues; but I was in an 11th grade course anyway.

I highly doubt they'll look at that in a negative light.

i hear ya, loud and clear. although i can't tell you what it will do to your college options, cuz i'm still a senior too. good luck, though.

I feel the same way, b/c I wanted to be in English Honors again this year, and the teacher wouldn't let me, because there were too many kids in the class and I asked her to sign my sheet too late. Now I'm in regulars, and I feel stupid and mad.

Shut up .

Oh wow! We've got an individual thinker on our hands! He is smart, and BOY is he disenfranchised! Look OUT!

^ Don't worry. Reinhardt just tries to make people feel bad.
