<p>I'm taking it in the Fall as an elective because I will be going to Europe next year and would like to at least be familiar with the language. The only foreign language classes I have taken were Spanish I and II in high school. Has anyone taken Elementary French I at FSU? How does it compare to an introductory language class in high school?</p>
<p>I do not currently attend FSU, however, I plan on transferring in next fall and I am currently enrolled in this course at my community college. I originally planned to wait until FSU to take it, but my adviser at FSU highly suggested against it. She told me that French (or any other language for that matter) is treacherous at FSU. I also understand it to be everyday (either M-TH or M-F) Not for the faint of heart at all. With that being said, good luck and let me know how it turns our for you.</p>

<p>I am taking french for fall. Unfortunately it is monday thru thurs, which is kind of a pain for my schedule. I heard it is alot of busy work, but thats all I’ve been told.</p>
