His went well. Two interviews is the standard from what I can tell. I was told one will be with an admin and another with an Eli Whitney Student.
Hmmm… based on past threads, that’d be a new format @AnonBurner2015 ! Interesting.
Anyone privy to how many total applicants they had this year?
@Abendstern No, I have not heard anything yet.
Hey @Abendstern I now have two interviews set, and like the aforementioned posts, one is with an admin. and the second with an Eli Whitney student.
Very cool! How exciting that they are doing two interviews! I’ll be thinking all kinds of good New Haven-ie thoughts for you both @Ccecon112 and @AnonBurner2015
Let us know how things go!
Regular transfers are getting their decisions tomorrow. I was lurking on their thread for a bit of vicarious (but short-lived) relief. It’s a reminder that eventually a decision does come, even if it feels like time is standing still right now!
With transfer decisions in from other schools, I’m sure some in this thread have been accepted to other stellar institutions too and deserve congratulations! Anyone care to share their good news with us?
Also, has anyone attended their scheduled EWSP interview yet?
FYI, I spoke with the admissions office and they said they’d continue scheduling and holding interviews all the way into the first and maybe second week of June.
@Abendstern, I was accepted at Harvard but will visit Yale and interview before I decide.
That’s impressive @AnonBurner2015 !! Congrats! Does H have financial aid and housing for transfers? I know nothing about their program.
Where are you transferring from?
@Abendstern Harvard has FA and Housing for transfers, yes. Did you apply there? I got denied obviously.
Bumping this thread.
Denied. Headed to Dartmouth.
For everyone else who also got denied, at least the former Dean of Yale Admissions wrote a very nice article: http://admissions.yale.edu/after-colleges-accept-you
For the select 4-8 who did get in. Congrats! You’re going to Yale!
Hi all! Does one have a choice whether to apply as an EW or transfer student?
If youve been out of school for more than 5 years then you can apply as EW, its not on common app tho, google it
