I just looked through my UC application. And I made a mistake on my non-US HS language section… I took three years of Spanish back in high school, but I put Korean, which is my mother language as my HS language…!! I am already admitted to UC Berkeley and UCSB and waiting for decisions from UCLA and UCSD… I think it should not matter too much if I explain them. But, I am really freaked out if there is any chance they will rescind my acceptance… T.T
Contact the schools where you have been accepted and let them know of the mistake. Your transcripts need to match the self-reported application information. Check any documentation you receive from the schools just in case.
Do what Gumby said. I don’t see an issue.
@Gumbymom @Ohm888 Yeah… honestly, I thought the same. But, what I am really worrying is if UCLA rejects me because I am Korean, and they think I took my mother language, Korean in high school. Do you think I need to call UCLA too on Monday? Or should I just wait until they release their admission offers…?
Well that did cross my mind. You said you were admitted to Cal, so that should be okay. Contact UCLA.
@Ohm888 Thanks…! I will contact UCLA tomorrow.
