<p>Theatremon13-- congrats on your son getting into the BFA program! I attended an accepted students reception and it finally hit me how selective the BFA program is, I could barely find any acting kids!</p>

<p>Have any of you on here committed to Emerson? I’m waiting for my financial aid package and my other decisions to be posted.</p>

<p>Actingforfilmmom–it’s completely true! Never let these rejections define you. I was speaking to an emerson alumni who worked in admissions and said the admissions people would spend hours and hours choosing students to accept and reject. Every year, every school rejects students they wish they could accept but just don’t have the space to.</p>

<p>actress17 - actually it’s my daughter that got into the BFA-Acting and thank you. We are attending the admitted student day this Friday, APR 5th and also are awaiting the financial aid package. Best of luck to you.</p>

<p>Wow, Actingforfilmmom, I don’t know what to say! Did your d do EA? Mine did and perhaps that was the difference. She also put “Communcations” down as her second choice because she’s been very successful in Speech and Debate for the past four years and Emerson has a forensics team…</p>
