Hi guys, I am an Italian physician currently employed as a fellow (in the haematology department at my institution) and I will move to Emory Winship cancer Institute for a 1-year visiting programme next October.
I am trying to figure out the best solution where to stay at Emory. I think the best option is to rent a bedroom in a residence or in a private house, but I am a bit confused about housing solutions offered in the area.
May anyone help me?
Thank you
Roberto
Roberto,
Use this link as a very good place to start:

Quite a few of the apartment complexes will match you up with a roommate or two to in a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. Try 1231 Clairmont, for instance. Don’t fill out online forms. Call them. Or you can click on the ‘roommate’ link and try to connect with someone and find a place.
Thank you!
What about staying inside the campus? Is there any chance to get a room in a dorm inside Emory? On Emory website I have seen there are lots of dorms but apparently only for students.
Emory doesn’t even have enough housing to fit junior and senior undergraduate students who’d like to live on campus. So living in a dorm is not an option for you.
Postscript to my note above: A number of the apartment complexes on the Emory off-campus housing webpage cater almost exclusively to graduate and professional (med school, law school, etc.) Emory students. If you share an apartment at one of these complexes your roommates will likely be associated with Emory.
