I can speak about the US Naval Academy as a former Candidate Guidance Officer. Your chances there should be excellent. Did you varsity letter in Cross Country? (I did that too in high school.) Do you have any outside-of-school extracurricular activities showing leadership? Church, Scouts, other civic or service organizations, Civil Air Patrol, Naval Sea Cadets? Are you currently a senior? I have sat in on sessions of the admissions board at the Academy and have a clear understanding of the process, and I would be happy to take this discussion out-of-band via email to advise you if you would like. I'm willing to take the time for the same reasons I was willing to be a Candidate Guidance Officer--I want to see the very best folks at my Alma Mater and even more importantly, wearing Navy Blue and serving our nation. Besides that I still own a house in Florida from my days as a Navy flight instructor so it's nice to have the chance to help out a Florida kid...

You might also consider the US Coast Guard Academy, the US Merchant Marine Academy. They are smaller schools, and like USNA, are fully funded by the US Government. All three require excellent math/science skills. If interested, get cracking as they require nominations as well as applications and require more paperwork then colleges. Check the cc forums for more info.
