<p>I just received an email from one of the teachers from my GE cluster suggesting that I finish my writing I requirement before the end of winter quarter. I looked on the class planner and saw that all of the classes were already waitlisted. Will some classes open up or am I sol? Thanks!</p>

<p>You are SOL for this quarter. Eng Comp 3 is a class many people want. You might get lucky though. Use priority if you can for Winter.</p>
<p>It's too late now, but you should be able to use your priority registration for the winter quarter to get Eng Comp 3. I actually asked my Orientation Counselor this before I picked classes and she said that it's made so those who take GE Clusters and need Eng Comp 3 are almost guaranteed to take it winter quarter if they're unable to take it during the fall.</p>
