which of the 3 is less evil?

well you don't really get a choice in what you want to take of those, do you? what's your major?

IEOR. I am required take 6 units of engineering breadth from a list, which includes those 3.

well i'm taking 36, and so far, even though it's a 2 unit class, it still feels like it's 4 units.

E36 definitely feels like a 4 unit course and is pretty dry (unless you unconditionally love Newton). E45 is really cool and fun, but it feels like a 4 or 5 unit course rather than a 3 unit course. E28, I don't know about.

hm.....

engin 28 is always offered at 8am. i don't know if i want to make myself wake up that early next semester....

e28 is technically 3 units but, as it sounds like with e36 and 45, feels much more like a 4+ unit class...although the material is pretty fun and assignments are fun too (just very time consuming)

How time consuming is e28 compared to e77?
e45 to e77?
e36 to e77?

Hopefully those classes are not as much as the insane amount of time I spend doing E77 labs. Last week was killer.

hey it turns out e28 is being offered in the afternoon because it's not taught by Lieu. Unfortunately, the assigned instructor has very indesirable ratings.

how stressful is e45 compared to e77?

and the lab times for e28 are horrible! who does friday 3-6?!? because i have class during the time on thursdays, i'm forced to finish my fridays at 6 - that's ridiculous.

E36 will be the least time consuming of all the classes mentioned above and the easiest. It will also be the least interesting too... All just book work.

Would doing E45 and 36 at the same time be a bad idea.

Nope... these are very doable at the same time. E45 will take up a lot more time than E36 though.

(this is from what i've heard) while e45 will take up more time, don't be mislead into thinking e36 is a walk-in-the-park. it definitely feels like more than 2 units

I just got back from E77 midterm, and was just destroyed. 11 pages in 45 minuets. Way, Way too hard. Anyone else who took it feel the same way?

There was definitely NOT enough time.

same way it was for us last spring

i didnt finish either...any one know the average for E77 midterm?

Someone said it might be 55%. I found that kind of high, but maybe I just did really bad.
