Engineering freshmen housing?

So is it wise to just get into the Galileo community (?)?

Everyone that I know personally that did Galileo hated it a lot. They had extra courses to take and just didn’t want to deal with it along with their engineering course load plus the Liberal Education requirements. From what my friend has told me, it was a bunch of busy work that didn’t even really relate to engineering much. I have personally never taken the course, but if you want to do then that is up to you. Personally if I could do it over, I would try to get into The Residential Leadership Community (RLC.) They get to live in the best dorm on campus and my roommate for the upcoming fall semester says the course(s) wasn’t that hard.
