Hopkins has a few options for students interested in music.
Check this link out for opportunities for Hopkins students at Peabody: http://www.peabody.jhu.edu/conservatory/homewood/
Some of these courses can be applied to your humanities distribution for your engineering degree - especially if you pursue a music minor.
Hopkins also offers a dual degree programs between KSAS or WSE and Peabody. This program is generally very difficult and i don’t recommend it, but I’ve known students who’ve gone through it.

There are also student groups like Hopkins United for Music and other organizations like the wind ensemble which could let you pursue music more casually.
