<p>I was just wondering which of those two colleges might give a better chance for a science major.(by that, I mean chances for typical CC student.)</p>
<p>Also is it hard to switch majors between different colleges within UCB or even in a college?</p>

<p>switching in and out of college of engineering is extremely difficult. even switching within CoE is hard.
this is what my advisor told me (i don't plan on switching majors at all but i was just curious) - "you see, just to get considered for a transfer into eecs, you would need at least a 3.7 gpa. and that's just for consideration."
your best chance is to get into CoE from the get go</p>
