<p>Could someone please explain the differences between these two exams to me? </p>
<p>I don't really get it... I'm sure this question has been asked before, but my search isn't working well, so if someone wants to link me, that'd be great.</p>
<p>Literature focuses more on author's intent, language focuses more on analyzing rhetorical devices. Basic idea I got from my teacher.</p>
<p>Lit = more fiction
Lang = more nonfiction</p>
<p>That's what I got from my teachers....... I think lit is a bit more difficult; instead of the "take a position and support it with evidence" writing for the essays; lit will always be about analyzing poems, prose, etc.</p>
