ENGRD 2700 vs 3200

Hey there, I have the option of taking either of these as part of my math statistical requirement as a mechanical engineer. Does anyone have any insight as to which may be better to take?

The professor for 2700 this coming semester, Bruce Turnbull, has quite horrid reviews on RateMyProfessor; on the other hand, 3200 seems more labor intensive with Matlab coding, but the Professor, Pete Diamesis, has a good review (albeit only one) on RateMyProfessor. Either course fits perfectly fine in my schedule.

I’m not sure about 3200 but I took 2700 last spring and it was relatively easy. I learned most of the material in discussion and the lecture slides were a lot more helpful than the actual lectures or the book. I’d say it’s one of those courses where which professor it is doesn’t really affect your experience. Plus, 2700 from previous years are posted on VideoNote for reference.

Hopefully someone who’s taken the other class can offer their opinion?
