I'm a MechE major, and I've enrolled in Chem 20B and 20L so far. I want to take math 32B and physics 1A, but all the slots for these classes are closed...blah. Do many people tend to drop these classes, or can I expect not to get in either of those for winter quarter? If I can't get in those classes, are there any suggestions for what I could take in their place?

math 33a is possible, there are two sections still open.

A lot of people are in the same situation..I'm sure you'll be fine (at least Math - spots will open).

yeah...math courses tend to open up..i heard physics is pretty hard to get into though..

1B is open

There are WAY too many people here.

Do you guys think math 31b will open? Class enrollment, even the waitlist is filled.

You can thank your parents, their peers, and your parents' parents and their peers for that. Responsible California governance...

I thought 31B had like 7 lectures?! They're all full? =/

But I wouldn't worry too much...math classes tend to open up...and ppl will shuffle around too...there's bound to be a spot somewhere...keep checking!

yeah its really weird because like 2 of hte lectures only have 30 people capacity

whoops, I meant 31B with Brown. I'm neurotically monitoring ursa, man.
