EOP program!!

I recently sent in my application for the EOP program at Binghamton. I really LOVE this college, but I am just freaking out because I am unsure whether or not I got into the program or not. I have a 90 gpa my SAT score was 1170/1600 and 1680/2400, this year i have 2 college level classes with an AP class and last year i took an honors class. I am also a minority. I don't know if this is good enough to get in the program because Binghamton is such a good school. Please tell me what you think. Thank you

I’m not sure how EOP admissions function, but from talking to people I know in that program, there’s a financial component and an academic one. You have to meet both. The academic component requires that your GPA/scores demonstrate that you have been disadvantaged, meaning you have lower scores/grades than would usually be admitted to Binghamton. You have a decent GPA and scores, so for you it may be the case that you will not qualify for EOP (and would be placed in the regular admissions pool).

Well the thing is, i have the GPA because of my electives such as gym, chorus, writers workshop. If they took that out then my GPA would be lower, but thank you for telling me, i really appreciate it
