ERAU or SUNY Buffalo or UW for Aerospace Engineering

Hello!

My name is Ryan and I’m an international student. So far I have completed 61 credits and onto my last few months at a Community College.

I am accepted into SUNY Buffalo with the intended major of Aerospace Engineering (my grades weren’t high enough due to my mess-up at a previous school). I am also accepted to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Aerospace Program there as well. I need some help on deciding which school is the better school to go to.

(/Sorry for submitting the post too early)

I am still waiting for news from University of Washington (Seattle) and they told me I’ll hear from them around June. Should I wait until then or should I make the decision to go to ERAU or UB?

do you mean you were not accepted into UB’s Program, but hope to attend to be accepted later??? and you were accepted into ERAU’s aerospace program? Is cost the same? How about location? are there relocation expenses? Maybe a little more info?

Well I am accepted into UB, just not accepted into their program because my GPA averaged from two schools wasn’t high enough. But yes I do hope that after half a year my grades would be good enough to be accepted. I am accepted into ERAU’s aerospace program though.

UB’s cost is definitely lower, but ERAU is higher ranked in terms of Aerospace Engineering and from what I’ve heard there are more connections to companies if I attend ERAU.

As for moving, I have moved three times in three years. Packing up, renting a car and driving should be the least of my concern.

Which Embry-Riddle campus? Prescott or Daytona? Not familiar with SUNY Buffalo’s AE program, but ERAU’s AE program is top notch. The Prescott campus is beautiful too!

At the end of the day though, the better school is the one you can comfortably afford!
