Yo guys whats up?

I was wondering. I'm just about done with my UC application, and I am now worrying about sending in teacher recommendations and counselor reports and such. The only problem is, I cant find these ANYWHERE. I have heard from some people that UC doesnt take recommendations, and that it just reviews your application and essays directly from what you sent in online. Obviously they look at SAT scores you send in through collegeboard. But is there anything that I physically need to send out (besides my transcript)?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

nope, nothing other than what they ask for....they throw out recs, and don't read them

do we need to send transcripts? I thought it was after we got in or if they asked.

Nope, you don't need to send in any supplemental... anything. Which is convenient, I guess, but a little bit scary. It worries me that kids could just make up anything they want -- awards, activities -- or they could be cheaters or disrespectful or just unlikeable, but they look good on paper so the colleges accept them.

On the other hand, the UC staff CLAIMS to check up on one piece of every applicant's application, i.e. transcript for some, a call to the counselor to confirm an activity for others.
