I took Biology A and English 10B in 2005 summer school.
English 10B grade turned out well, but my Biology A grade turned out wrong!
I got A, and I have it on my summer school transcript, but in my transcript of whole highschool years shows 'C' on Biology A!!!
So I said to teacher who taught me Bio in SS, and he said he will fix, but he didn't. Since he is gone to somewhere else, this year I requested revision through Registrar's office. But they said that they cannot change my grade because "THE OFFICIAL RECORD SAYS IT'S C!!!"
What the heck is this? I mean I really got an A..But why the official record says C? I really don't get it..

And..in case that they really don't change the grade..Will this grade affect my chance on colleges? I got almost straight A, but some Bs. With that C on transcript, my gpa is around uw3.7 and w4.1.(By junior yr)

And I got A on Biology B. I got all As on science and math.

demand that they change it, have them contact the teacher, have a parent complain. definitely make sure they change it. i'd be so mad. also make sure to remind them they are incompetent fools :D haha.

man id be majorly ****ed
yeah talk to the college administration office or something
show proof dont just walk up to them and be like "hey i got an A and u put a C"
if u earned that A then it should show

I'd suggest you have your parents show the school the summer school transcript which shows you got the "A," and ask what steps the school is taking to be sure that the official HS transcript correctly reflects this grade. Sometimes it is much more effective for parents to get involved--getting grades corrected is one such time.

If it is a public school, appeal to the district superintendent and/or school board. Try to find the teacher who gave you the grade and have him issue a notarized letter stating that the grade should be an A.

If it's a private school, your parents can work with the headmaster of the school. I agree that a notarized letter from the teacher who gave you the grade which states it should be an "A" would be very helpful in supporting your case.

Send extremely angry letters to every single person up the chain of command. The former Teacher, your Counselor, Assistant Principal, Principal, Regional Administrator, Superintendent. Don't cross the line and be threatening, but be very, very close.

You should be an annoying, irate, pain in the neck for everyone until this gets changed. Its unacceptable.

Have your parents get involved and constantly pester the teacher, counselor and administrators on the issue until they just give up and change the grade XD If necessary, write to the newspaper. Don't mention names, but write about the bureaucracy and the slow process it takes to correct an error (:

Same thing is happening to me currently. My first semester AP Lang grade was supposed to have been an even 100 (7 points are added to all APs in my county) but my transcript says 90. Today I talked to my teacher about it for the second time. She swears she changed it the first time, but I have my doubts.
