So I don't know how, but today I was reading back through my Cornell essay and I found that I left out the word "that" in a sentence. I have five friends proof read my essay and we ALL missed it. Do they look down upon kids that don't have perfect essays in regards to grammar? Will it affect my chances? Dumb, dumb, dumb mistake.

I assure you, you spent MUCH more time poring over your application than anyone at Cornell ever did. Even if someone noticed that you dropped one word, they wouldn’t care at all.
