<p>I'm beginning to write on a certain prompt, but I don't know if this qualifies as an adequate topic.</p>
<p>Prompt: Stanford students are widely known to possess a sense of intellectual vitality. Tell us about an idea or an experience you have had that you find intellectually engaging.</p>
<p>Idea: Live in China for a year. I've never been to China so I think this would be an enlightening experience. I'm especially immersed in the culture (events, media, traditions, etc.)</p>
<p>I'm not as interested in this as I am in biochemistry, but I am planning to minor in Chinese (and possibly another language). Thoughts?</p>

I could talk about wanting to do research for stem cells, but it's a bit controversial.</p>
