I'm starting on my essay for SFS and I was wondering how long the essay is supposed to be. I couldn't even find the essay topic on Georgetown's website (I already knew it, though, from when I visited there). I would assume that there is a 500 word cap, but I found an application essay someone posted online a few years ago and it had a little over 600 words.

I’m in the incoming freshman class and my essays were way over 500 words. Since Georgetown is basically old-schooled for everything, they don’t really focus on the word count. Just as a whole, let it be about a page. Mine were about a page and a quarter and the other almost a page and a half.

When I was applying the directions said that my essay should be about a page’s length.
That would be in the 600 word area.

k, thanks!
