Prompt: is conscience a competitive force along with money, fame etc? (if my memory serves me well)

An ancient Iraqui proverb goes" Money and wealth lay the death". Though the bulk may be unwilling to believe, there are some who think differently. Both Mother teresa and Bill Gates vividly exmeplify the statement. Their deeds leave long lasting marks upon the people of the world.
Mother Teresa is a kind hearted nun in Kankurta, India. Days after days following the World War Two, she witnessed people begging and dying in the street. With such a loving soul, she brought them home and took care of them. She then congregated other nuns to help her. Subsequently, more and more came to join. The suffering folks, who were rejected by the Indian government at the time, happily received the cup of kindness from Mother Teresa. She is now living with recognition from people around the world, including those who are not Christain. She received a Nobel Award for peace in 2005.
The second example is Bill Gates, once rumored the richest man in the world, who is also a philanthrophist. Bill Gates has donated effusively to his own trust in order to help orphans around the world since 2002. Although Gates is now retired and not remain the richest man now, he is still well known for his ministering heart and his brilliant mind.
Clearly from the two images, readers can see that conscience pervades everywhere. And we are certainly not in thr wrong if we denounce it as a competitive force along with other well-beings.
