Essay too provocative?

I would like some advice about my admissions essay. Its in response to a common app prompt "discuss some issue of importance to you." i was told by one teacher that it was good but another told me it might be too provocative and not something i would want to write about. if any respected posters could give me some help, id really appreciate it, and ill email u the essay.

PM me...I'll read/adivise to the very best of my ability

Provocative? Does your essay have a bare midriff or something? Something that provokes thought is usually good. I'm scared to think how you could be negatively 'provocative' on an essay. But intrigued. I'll read it if you need more feedback.

I can help if you want

I'll give you honest opinion

hmm, provocative?? ill give it a read....

ill be happy to give it a read :)

is it about sex.. otherwise i've lost interest
