Okay, s I don't know if this is a good topic, or where exactly I'm going with it... it just sort of came to me

I guess it fits under 'personal experience'

PS this is just a potential topic, by no means the introduction to my essay!!! (I'm pretty much going to begin free-writing)

as a student in a public high-school in canada unusually filled with over-achieving keeners, being an over-achieveing keener myself, I felt from the first day of high school that it was my duty to become a member of the executive students council. At first, it was merely a competitive dream, a way to show others that I could beat these over-achievers at something. However, it eventually became a passion of mine, after I got involved in various other leadership positions. The thing is, I ran for students council for three of my 5 years of high school! Although I improved each time in the number of votes, I never won.
It was until I lost this year, my junior year, when I realized that indeed, I had won... I had gained a blah blah you get the point, I realized that the eexperience itself was more important...

honestly is this a really bad idea? haha I'm just going on an impulsive lightbulb thought
