<p>I absolutely have no idea how to start it. Any tips?</p>
<p>I would probably start off saying something interesting about yourself and then begin relating it to the essay question.</p>
<p>Well, the entire essay prompt requires me to talk about myself the entire essay. Should I still do the same? Should it the essay also be the normal 5 paragraph?</p>
<p>Rutgers University is a vibrant community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. How would you benefit from and contribute to such an environment? Consider variables such as your talents, travels, leadership activities, volunteer services, and cultural experiences.</p>
<p>My son wrote about his 3 best friends and how each one of them was from a different culture and background and how that friendship had helped him become a better person. He compared his friendship with these boys with countries and why 4 different boys can get along and countries cannot. Im just giving you an idea that it is really simple but pick something that is meaningful.</p>
<p>That’s the same essay question they’ve been using for years. I think there is a suggested word limit.</p>
<p>Try to write an essay that someone would want to read. Don’t fill it with a boring list of your accomplishments; that is what your application is for. Maybe pick one or two experiences you have had and tell how they have impacted you, as related to the essay prompt. imo, the subject is diversity of environment and its impact/potential impact on you, and how you may make an impact on others.</p>
