Hi Guys!
Im writing my second essay, and im writing about my immigration to usa, and I want to write that I went back to my country and what I have learned from my experience of being back to my country
I can write good things about it but is there a way of them knowing that in fact I havent traveled back to my country
.will I get in trouble for that?

I'm not sure where your applying to but I was going to write about my immigration experience as well. I asked some UC reps what they thought about this topic and they said that it is a pretty common topic to write about and that I should write about something else. That alone encouraged me to write about a different topic.

well its a pretty smart way to fake it.
well faking personal statements can be ez
but one thing i realized is u lose the passion if u don't have the actual experience in it, so your essay might lack a sort of "flame"

but if ur a really good con artist...
they're not gonna check ur passport >_> dun worry

Heh, well, you'll be fine as long as none of the admissions officials who cruise this site decide to it's worth trying to figure out who you are.

There's no database for them to check regarding your movements in and out of the country, they've only got this post to go on.

I won't foist my own morality on you, but honesty will probably keep you from getting screwed and give you a more inspired essay.

--Joe

I wrote my second essay on that last year.

Second prompt is still "what will you bring to the campus" - that prompt is hard unless you have legit extra talents.

They have NO way of knowing that you went back, no one is going to ask you to show your pasport or to prove it in any way. They dont even read transfer essays really.

I did go back and i did write about that and it was one of the my longest essays. I was fine with it, i can post it if anyones cares.

post it malishka.
