Sorta a general question... but can anyone tell me about this school?

And how exactly the rest of "The New School" system works?

And how exactly the rest of "The New School" system works?

any help? at all?

I know that it's very non-traditional and eclectic.

And that the people who are attracted to the school love it. :)

(No specifics, sorry).

My older D applied last year and was accepted. She decided not to attend since they offered very little merit $ and she had some feeling they were not well organized.

My D was interested in the school because it was in the city, but not NYU (not her cup of tea). Their classes are small and from what we understood, seminar style. My H & I had concerns that there wasn't much of a support system and school community there.

Lang is the undergraduate program at the New School, so it works the same as any 4-year LAC. I think I remember that students have the ability to take classes at Parsons and other parts of New School. The best thing to do is go onto their website and have them send you info. Better yet, try to visit if you can.
