Love these!

Who doesn’t have a dark closet or cabinet? Bright light! I even put some in our RV.

I recently saw those or something similar. Home Depot, maybe… Very bright.
In the past, earlier battery lights would quit working if dtopped.

Thanks to the mention on another thread, I ordered shoe laces to make my walking shoes slipons . After looking at several I picked these and I love them. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZG91KZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They fit securely and slip on and off easily.

@BunsenBurner
Bought in early May for a decent price (one pound about $25.

Went to buy again a couple weeks later and the price jumped about $10.

Where do you get it and what do you pay.

Thanks!
Yes, you could eat it out of the bag!

I just saw the battery light switches at WalMart over in camping supplies. Very bright. Had to have one.

^^I love them

@mom2collegekids - sorry I missed your post! I got a large pack from Costco during their road show and got hoooked. Amazon is the only other place I know of that sells large bags… :frowning:

Endorsement on easy car wax products. With our paint looking worn on our older car (roof is the worst) I purchased at WalMart Mothers California Gold Spray Wax and Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnauba Cleaner Wax (in a tin). I used these two products together - the tin wax helps get heavier application and better results IMHO, while the spray helps get the job done more easily.

Did pick up the shine. H is not a car maintenance guy. It was worth using! Finished a car pretty quickly.

Need a travel hair blow dryer? Hairdresser sis bought me this one and it works like a champ, Andis Micro Turbo Hair Dryer, 1600 watts. Available thru Amazon.

Not sure if this has been posted - S’s roommate brought one to their apartment, so I had to get one for our house.

Here’s my tip for a cheap, easy way to deal with toilet bowl stains from hard water, etc. - just paper towels and vinegar.

https://www.frugallyblonde.com/2016/10/how-to-clean-toilet-stains-like-a-pro/

@doschicos - that’s what I used to do, but with our well water, we have high mineral content and the rings always come back. Paper towels and vinegar work but they take hours, and I have been thrilled that the Pumice Stone gets the job done in less than 5 minutes!

Even though DH will scrub the toilets, there are plenty of other things I’d rather he spend his time on.

That’s too tedious. I just sprinkle some Barkeeper’s Friend on the insides of the “white friend” and brush any stains and mineral rings away. We usually never get to the point where big guns are needed, but once we had some contractors who totally trashed a toilet. I thought it was hopeless… nope. Even the paint stains were removed.

Barkeeper’s Friend works but we waste too much of it trying to get under the rim, as it just falls into the water. If we have to plunge the water out before hand to get to the ring at the water level, it just takes too long.

Close the water in line. Flush the toilet. It will not refill. When you are done cleaning, open the in.

We use both Barkeepers & a pumice stone, when necessary.

Neutrogena makeup remover cloths. Not very green, but boy do they get the job done without irritating your eyes.

Lol, took me a few secs, Hanna. Thought you were adding an idea to the posts above.
I also like the Burt’s Bees brand.
