^^ Me, too! I was picturing Hanna down on her knees scrubbing her toilet with tiny little Neutrogena makeup remover cloths until I realized she wasn’t talking about that…
For me, this is a great discovery. Natural Soul sandals. I have had plantar fasciitis (better now) and have a difficult time finding shoes and sandals that I can walk in for hours without pain. While searching for comfortable sandals that weren’t too old lady looking, I decided to try these and they are fantastic. I even found 2 more colors and styles I liked at TJMaxx, so now I have sandals for every outfit.
For cleaning mineral deposits in the toilet bowl, I always used vinegar but hated the smell. My new method is to use a packet of unsweetened lemonade mix. Sprinkle powder around the ring. Let sit overnight. The acid works just as well or better than vinegar. And it smells a lot better! Unsweetened lemonade mix also works as a dishwasher cleaner–and is a lot cheaper than other dishwasher cleaning products.

@Hanna - I am a fan of these too. But then I tried the Costco/Kirkland brand of these and like them at least as much at a fraction of the price.
@my2sunz, that was my experience too. And I appreciate that the box comes with both 30 and 15 packs as the 15 packs are easy to travel with.
I just starting using a brown sugar keeper and I am in love with it. My brown sugar stays soft, soft, soft.
I’m a Ponds girl (make up remover wipes).
Yay, Ponds. The cream is my favorite for moisturizing. But lately, I have to mix up which products when, a few weeks on, then shift to another product.
I like makeup remover cloths, too. I buy generics and because I only use them to remove eye makeup, I can use each cloth for about a week before it’s completely used up. I keep the partially used cloth in a snack bag in my makeup drawer to keep it moist. One package of cloths can last me almost a year.
I wear makeup maybe 5 times a year. But I keep a pack of those Neutogena cloths in a ziplock baggie so they would not dry. I give what is left after 6 months to baby kiddo, our makeup wearer, and buy a new pack.
I rarely wear make up, too, and use them to clean my face when I’m not near a sink or on a super hot day. I’m able to just use half, carefully tear first, and put the other half in the original package, squeeze the air out and seal.
Maybe not quite a eureka moment, but I bought an O-Cedar brand spin mop, and I really love it! It’s easy to use, very absorbent mop head, the pedal is easy to press to spin the water out of the mop, and for the first time in ages, I don’t dread the next time I need to mop the floor. I had read about them somewhere, suggested it to D, she bought and really liked it, and then I bought it on her recommendation.
I love, love, love Pond’s makeup remover wipes in the “original” scent. They smell so darned good. Runner up is Neutrogena brand ones.
I know we talked the microwave “egg thingie” to death. I bought one, had unreliable results overall and eventually dropped it and broke it. As it happens, ods bought his dad a Dash countertop one for Christmas and this thing is seriously fantastic. Highly recommend it for boiled eggs.

The garden hoses that shrink when you turn off the water make coiling them a breeze. Great for boats at a dock. I will never buy a regular hose again. Coiling them into the right shape and fighting to get them in the hanger is forever out of my life.
I have been wondering if those hoses were any good, @privatebanker ! Thanks for letting me know.
I’ve been wondering about those hoses as well. Mine is always laying across the yard because I’m too lazy to coil it on the nice hose holder I have!
We have had those hoses. When they work they’re wonderful. None of ours have lasted more than one summer before they popped a hole. Unfortunately they can’t be repaired. Ok, they’re cheap enough to replace once a year. Then this summer we’ve had duds, two popped within a couple weeks. Store them out of the sun, never drag them, and never leave them pressurized with the water on.
I buy two and connect them to get the extra distance. And with a spigot built in on the end as an on off switch and I don’t even need a nozzle.
They do split eventually I get two to three years of heavy use and left in the heat on the dock. But so cheap I don’t care.
They almost put themselves away when you turn them off. I have found the black ones last longer than the green ones
For a regular garden use I bet they last longer. And I actually buy them at cvs
They also make heavy duty versions that aren’t quite as malleable and not quite as teasy to use. I got that one at Home Depot and use it for the yard.
The CVS variety I use exclusively at the dock. And they are less than a fill up at the gas pump. So doesn’t phase me when they go.
Bummer to hear they don’t last long. I try not to buy too many short lifespan products like that. Just seems so wasteful to me.
