exactly how bad is a W?

<p>So im terribly tanking calc after not taking math since pre calc in 10th grade...im trying to transfer to michigan or BU from Umass Lowell...</p>

<p>currently im taking 5 classes including calc, would it look really bad if i had a 3.7+ but a w? or should i take a 3.2 without a w? Freshman BTW hoping to transfer out ASAP</p>

<p>also, im going to major in econ/poli sci/business...nothing in math/science</p>

<p>You are overloaded with courses right now. You can always take calc again when you have the time and the energy for it.</p>

<p>but will i be less competitive wth only 4 classes and a W instead of 5 classes? is the GPA more important?</p>
