Exactly How Do I Pay?

I feel really dumb for asking this question, but I've been through all the meetings and presentations at the UPitt presentation and no one really seems to give me a straightforward answer, so how exactly do I pay for my classes? Do i sign a check to the University of Pittsburgh and mail it? Is there a way to do it online? One of my friends who will be going there with me in the fall told me you pay in advance while my cousin (who is also going in the fall) told me my family gets a bill after the semester ends. So how exactly do i do it?!?!?

You can find the info here: http://www.payments.pitt.edu/index.html

Here is the payment schedule for 2014-2015 (it is on page 3 of the document): http://www.payments.pitt.edu/documents/ebills71612.pdf

For Pitt: you pay by the due date for the semester depending on when you registered for classes. You can pay online (which is the easiest). I believe you can send in a check but it has to arrive before the due date. Pitt usually requires full payment before the semester starts (again refer to the deadlines as most students enroll in classes by the first deadline date).

oh my god thank you so much

If you are starting at Pitt next month, you should have received information about setting up your PittPay account. Both my son and I received the e-mail around 4 - 5 weeks ago and got his account set-up pretty quickly.

Heck… I’ve already made my first installment payment!
