excess units

<p>Okay, so it was mentioned in the Fall Schedules thread that URSA will only let you enroll in 19 units. I was on the petition site and for the summer section it says this "URSA will allow L&S students to enroll in a total of 18 units for summer" but it wasn't that specific with regular. With regular there was only mention about above 22 units. So if the definition of excess unit for the summer session is over 18, wouldn't it be more than that for a regular session? Like at the cc where I do summer school, it has a 12 unit cap for summer but a 20 unit cap for Fall. I want to take 4 classes (each at 5 units) and I'd prefer not to drop one though I know which one I would drop if it came down to it.</p>

<p>I guess what I'm asking is how many units can you take without a petition for the regular sessions? Thanks!</p>

<p>Is that what it is? I'm saying that's what someone said but after going on the site I don't think that number is correct for a Fall Quarter limit. So I was hoping someone could confirm or deny if 19 units is the limi for Fall, I know it is for Summer but I would think Fall would have a higher limit.</p>

<p>19 is the limit. 18 is the limit for the summer (I should know - I had to petition for 1 extra unit.)</p>
