Hi, I'm new on this forum. :-)

I am an international student taking the IB diploma and my subjects (and predicted grades) are:
IB Biology HL - 6
IB French SL - 6
IB Math SL - 6
IB Psychology HL - 5
IB English SL - 5
IB Chemistry HL - 5

I meet the "minimum requirements" so that is not the problem here -
I've just found out that apparently McGill "forces" IB students to skip first year. I was wondering if there is any way to avoid that as I feel like I would be behind compared to the other students. Maybe that doesn't even apply to me because of my classes. I'm talking to a representative soon but I wanted to see what you thought.

Thanks for any replies!
