hey gang,
so i was looking through some of my sisters viewbooks that got mailed to our house this past year (there are about 20 of them). and i cannot believe how insanely complicated and confusing exeters viewbook is like it honestly gave me a head ache trying to read the thing, its jammed pack with info but it is confusing as hell. like honestly most schools viewbooks just have nice pictures and some text describing what is going on, but flipping exeters viewbook is like reaing the bible the thing is huge. not only that but it is very scatterd and hard to read. like i said there are a ton of other viewbooks that i have seen and exeters just through me right off

And my son looked at it and said, that school would be a really good fit for me! My husband, on the other hand, had your reaction. I think Exeter’s viewbook represents Exeter in a unique and, in many ways, real way. It’s all about what works for you.

Is it really that big? received one and it was pretty much the same size as all my other school’s viewbooks. Is it the same one with the question mark on the cover?

It’s not so much big, I think (though it probably is longer than the usual book), but stuffed with information, with multiple viewpoints coming at you at once. Reminded me in some ways of the DK books that my kids loved when they were little. Again, I think it’s a unique viewbook, and its format as well as its content says something interesting about the school–depending on the person, it will appeal or fall flat.

It didn’t seem that complicated to me. I’d rather some viewbooks didn’t have so many words lol (sad truth) I’m not really going to read all of that lol ME WANTY PICTURES haha

But PEA’s didn’t have so many words and its better for bored reading material. As opposed to say… Kent. Now THEY had a lot of useless words. Actually, bad example they were okay. hmmmm Williston had too many words and not enough pictures for the easily amused such as myself! And it reminded me of a medicine ad… XP

I loved Exeter’s viiewbook, actually!

So did I. I read the whole thing from cover to cover a couple of times. I just wanted whatever information I could get on the school. I did the same thing with the website.

haha, same here! It’s on my bedside table. Obsessive, much?
