Existential crisis vs. mostly B's

I'm a junior. Last year, I had pretty good grades (including a solid A- in AP Language, basically all A's in the year's worth of computer science classes... it was a good year).

This year is hitting hard. I have personal/health issues that haven't helped my pretty stereotypical academic struggle. I'm in AP Comparative Government and AP Lit, both of which are taught by impossibly hard graders. I have C's in both of them (I might be able to pull off B's... but I'm not sure). I have mostly B's in all of my classes. I'm pretty sure I'll have a really awful grade for Spanish.

Extracurriculars are pretty meh for me. I'm an editor for my school's paper. I have a job. I'm involved in the GSA, and an outside-of-school youth group. My school requires 15 hours of volunteer work a year, which will undoubtedly look nice. I'm going to be helping with the spring/summer play. I help in my school library. I play a relatively unique sport.

Is my Junior year going to look awful on my transcript if the first semester is rough? Help? :/

Just try to get your grades up this semester. You really can’t change first semester right now (unless your school is odd and it is still first semester).

I don’t see anything about an existential crisis. But a lot of people go through those during high school. Its not a time to give up on grades and school and stuff, but to explore more of the world. Try to find something you care about, like music or art.
