I've emailed the Admissions office twice (concerning 2 different things) in the past few months. Both times I got no response. Last year I emailed them, and their response was short, not very helpful, and on the verge of being rude.
What has yalls experience been? Wake is my number one chose, but my experience with their Admissions office has been extremely discouraging.

My son never emailed admissions, but did have reasons to call a couple times last year and people on phone were very helpful.

Try emailing the professors with questions. I have done this several times and have always gotten brilliant, enthuiastic, and thourough responses!... and always within several hours! But remember school is out now, so I don't know how that will afect things.

I think you've had a strange experience with the admissions office. Whenever I emailed them they were always very prompt in responding, very helpful and nice. I never ever had a problem with them.

It is possible you emailed them during a very busy time and they weren't able to get back to you right away, considering it was the height of admissions time.

I wouldn't take this as a sign of Wake Forest or the admissions office, I think you just had a bad experience. It's not really like that.

I have had the most amazing experience with the admissions office. They were very helpful.

thanks for all of the responses. They were very comforting! I'll just call them in the next couple of days.

Good luck. I hope you get a much better response.

I've e-mailed them 3 or 4 times and gotten quick, kind responses.

gah thats so weird.... I wonder why i never get a response?

The best I can offer is that maybe they were very busy and forgot about your email.

If you email back, I'd suggest giving a really descriptive subject line, that might help, if you didn't do that last time.

Good luck! I hope you don't get a bad impression about Wake from this.
