Extra Section in ACT?

I just took the ACT and there was an extra 15 math problems at the end. I think at the beginning of the test my proctor said they were sample questions or whatever. So they are just used as a sample right? Not factored into my ACT score hopefully.

I didn’t get those.

Sent from my iPod touch using CC

I also took the ACT today and there was an extra test. Mine was science with seventeen questions, I believe everyone’s was different. The instructor said that this test was being used by ACT for development purposes and that it will not be factored into your overall score.

I also got an extra section but we just skipped that portion because there was no room on the answer sheet for section 5. Did you take the ACT with writing or without?

Without writing

Yes, I remember finishing science and then noticing that there was an entire new section 5 in the back. There was no place to answer them and our teacher said that they were for developmental purposes.

I’ve taken the ACT before and I don’t remember this occurring any other time.

I took it with writing, btw

My daughter said she got an extra test on the math and that it was incredibly easy compared to the test she had to take which was the hardest one ever.

I saw an extra test and was like what the ****, but we didn’t take it.

@Konata - They only do the extra test during the June exam each year.

I took the exam in April and it had an extra test with 28 English questions
