I know some of you must have recieved (or are soon to recieve) your financial aid packet from SU. I'm not going to ask how much you got or what your EFC is, because that is personal. However, does anyone care to share how much the gap was between what you recieved and what your EFC is, and maybe what percentage of the award was loans? That's what I'm really concerned about: what I'll have to pay throughout the school year if I get accepted.

All right, fine. I’ll just wait patiently to hear from SU. It’s getting difficult!

i do not think i ever received a login for the SU website. i went in to check my aid award and was faced with a login screen, but not instructions on how to create a login…

I just saw how much financial aid I could potentially receive if I were to attend SU… I am very unsatisifed, as I received a substantial amount more from Gonzaga, although I would rather attend SU… This sucks… I might call SU and ask what’s up with the subpar financial aid…

Sorry to hear that, ilikeUW. I’m glad you got something from Gonzaga, though, so you’re not completely out of luck.

D1’s first finaid pkg from Seattle U, even with her nice merit schship, was horrid. I had to re-read a couple times to be sure there was no error, compared to a couple others we’d recv’d it was laughable.
However, we are having to appeal "special circumstances’ to all her acceptances so we’ll see what they come back with, but it will take a while.

That’s 0 for 2 with positive news. Hrm.

Anyone have further FA news to report? We are still awaiting results from further infor we submitted due to a change.

I got gapped $7,500, all of which was covered in perkins, sub’d, and unsub’d loans. Other than the loans, I’m paying about $500 out of pocket. I’m satisfied and will be attending SU this Fall!

EFC: 0
GPA/ SAT: 3.65/ 1890
Transfer

Congratulations ez!

Anyone else with good news?

Congrats speakingez. I’m glad someone got decent financial aid from SU.
