Faculty of Science without physics?

I’m applying for the Faculty of Science for fall 2015. I have a 3.93 GPA, SAT 1840/ ACT 31.

However, I haven’t taken high school physics. I never could fit it in my schedule. I’ve taken honors biology and honors chem, though, along with 5 AP classes. Is my lack of physics going to hurt my chances of getting into the science program (I want to go into environmental chem so I didn’t even consider not having physics as a problem until now)?

I just checked the UBC site: http://you.ubc.ca/admissions/international-curricula/american-curricula/

There’s a bit there that says “The Physics requirement may be waived with grades of A in Senior Level Math and Senior Level Chemistry.”

I guess that answers your question! :)
