I know this is really bad but I haven't filled my fafsa yet. And I don't know what to do cause I'm not so sure if my mom has filed her taxes yet.......and my parents are divorced does that mean I have to get my dad to fill it out also or something. Like do my parents have to have their own pin and stuff or just use mines and so on....I'm sorry I'm breaking down right now.

FAFSA only requires the custodial parent information. You will need 2 PINs. One for the student. One for the parent.

Taxes are due today so hopefully your Mom is getting them finished today. If they are not going to be completed then do FAFSA usuing estimates. However no aid will be disbursed until the taxes are completed and FAFSA updated. Some schools (both my kids) will not even make preliminary offers until the taxes are completed.

By filing so late you may have missed out on some federal aid that is limited in funding, such as the Perkins loan and the SEOG and Work Study(both these are for very needy students so you may or may not have been eligible). Other federal aid such as the Pell grant, ACG and Stafford you will still get if you are eligible.

How do you apply for the 2nd pin?

[Apply For A PIN - Federal Student Aid](http://www.pin.ed.gov/PINWebApp/appinstr.jsp)

same way you apply for the student PIN but with the parent info.
