We have been receiving emails that our financial aid, FAFSA, wasn’t rec’d. We completed this and sent to a bunch of schools. Syracuse told us today that they had not rec’d my S’s SSN on his common app so they could not link to FAFSA. I panicked, thinking all schools would not have rec’d it then. Oddly, I called two who said they had everything and our logins there showed FAFSA rec’d. They now want a copy of his SSN Card – anyone else? Sounds like an IT glitch to me.

@momshouse Same thing with my son. Thank God he was notified as he did not put his ssn on the common application. Rectified it with SU and contacted his others. Some had everything linked and a few requested what SU requested…Good luck to your son
Thanks nelson97 we were able to speak further with SU… none of his other schools had linking problems… SU thought they may have had a block on SSN up for a run or something when transmitting from Capp.
