So my school said they refunded back my tuition money as I was due for a refund after I filled out my fafsa, and 2 days have passed since they said they refunded back to my debit card, but my account balance is still the same. Is there a certain wait time before my bank receives the money ? Thanks
Ask the financial aid office or your bank, no one here knows their procedures. In general, electronic transfers take 2 nights.
It will take 3-5 business days, I had the same stress don’t worry about it just yet. If a week passes and you still haven’t received anything I would call you financial aid office.
fyi: FAFSA is an application so it can’t refund you; the university refunds any overages and generally, that is in 7-10- days.
