FAFSA/SAR in the mail, from UCSD?

Are you supposed to receive anything in the mail from UCSD, as regards financial aid and scholarships? I got mail to that effect from Berkeley a while back, but never anything from UCSD. I was just wondering if policies differed from UC to UC, or if I somehow missed it.

Thank you~

everything financial aid related is done electronically.
\make sure any emails from ucsd arent in your spam folder.
and if you have your ucsd email, check it frequently.

Could you mean the request for verification where you send your tax return after your preliminary award is determined? That is random and you might be asked for it by some schools and not by others. I was asked to verify by UCSD and Santa Cruz but not by Davis.

yepp i got a letter from them about a week ago :]

Wait, now I’m confused again. Is it all online or not? O_o;; There are some conflicting answers here. If there’s nothing on the website telling you to send them stuff, and you’ve only ever sent the initial FAFSA in February or whatever, are you in the clear?

Haha. Um well I kinda didn’t see my verification notice online LAST YEAR because I was confused with the deadlines being a winter admit last year. So they eventually sent me a notice through snail mail about it. I think) I don’t remember. But I do remember emailing them about it because I was confused and they told me to send it in asap.

Otherwise its all online.

Maybe they changed it this year so everyone initially gets snail mail notices for verification. But after that its all online. This year I just logged on and checked my financial aid page on tritonlink and it told me to submit copies of my mom’s and my tax return forms and the dependent verification form.

I had it electronically and by mail.

I had it electronically for UCSD. Just go to tritonlink and check it out, or if you’re still an applicant, go to the myapplication site. It was pretty straightforward as I remember it.
