so what happens if i fail math 1a, yet i still have the ap credit?

does anyone not know..?

You'll have an F on your transcript and fail to earn the 4 (?) units Math 1A grants you when taken at Berkeley, and you will (possibly?) have the AP units they grant for passing the exam.

They're separate things. The credit you receive for AP scores is completely separate from the credit you earn while at Berkeley, so it's apples and oranges. If they've granted you the units for having done the AP test, you have those as -units-. It won't "take the place" of a failing grade and wipe it from your transcript or anything.

AP units != class units.
