Failing an elective class in senior year? HELP

I am currently failing AP Studio Art Drawing because of a dumb mistake on my part. (deadlines)

I am currently taking 4 other AP classes and those grades are all A's. I have decent stats, not superb, but not bad compared to college confidential standards.

Will this ruin my chances in getting into colleges? I applied to top state schools & some common app schools if this helps.
What should I do? :(

You need to pull up the art grades. No one wants to see an F on your transcript.

. . . especially in a course that might be considered as not academically rigorous (therefore, suggesting laziness, misbehavior, seniorities, etc.). Go see the instructor, admit your responsibility, and ask for additional work that can elevate your grade – and then do these assignments VERY well.

If you think you are going to get an F - and you’ve exhausted your efforts with the teacher, I would drop the class and (if you will still have enough credits to graduate ofcourse) then, explain in your college applications that you dropped the class so you could devote more time to your AP studies…or take an art course at a community program and say that you dropped the course at school because you liked the community art class better.
Either way - you gotta get advice from your guidance counselor immediately before you make any moves.
Good luck

Thank you guys so much.
