<p>@ Jello: OMG. Yes. That’s my situation right there. Asian parents wanting their child to become a commuter at UCI. Yep, that’s OC kids right here. Wanted to go to UCSD to get away. Now it’s just having to wait to decide my faith.</p>
<p>@rainsonata You know I think the best one for us would have been Revelle…considering a LOT of those GE’s are what pharm schools ask for…but you know, what’s done is done…I thought picking ERC would make me “more rounded” but at this point it just sounds stupid…oh well at least the dorms are new…I think Warren would still be good even if it is an engineering major favorite…</p>

<p>@ AtticLights: My mom actually made me choose Revelle as first choice, but I switched it to third place when she wasn’t looking because of my laziness and because I didn’t like the idea of suffering in a college where there was lots of competition :(. Oh well, what’s done been’s done. I have no regrets.</p>

I see from your name that you’re just as anxious as most of us are for waiting for UCSD. By theory, it’s supposed to start accepting on 3/15-3/31, but some people already got theirs in February.</p>
<p>@rainsonata Yeah I’m trying to think that way too. I’ve noticed I always tend to bite off more than I can chew and end up getting really screwed over lol. Blame ambition.</p>
<p>@AtticLights: It’s because of ambition most of us want to get into UCs in the first place. Some people in the website would never think of going into UCR for it’s lower reputation, but I applied for it anyway.</p>

<p>@ rain; psychology LOL. yep, much easier to get a 3.7 with psych than any science major… which is why ucsd is one of my top choices! i’m aiming for law as a career (maybe pre-med but def not @ ucsd). i have 2 pharmacists in the fam… well, 1 is going to be one. she’s actually going to graduate from revelle in june. april 1st is when ucsf decisions go out, so fingers crossed!!! if she goes, i get to visit her in sf… and i’ve never been there before :O</p>
