<p>I heard from a friend of a friend who goes to UCSD who is actually one of the people helping call admittees that the people they call are random, but its not EVERYONE. Anyone else heard this?</p>

i think they would call the top students only tho cus those are the ones they really want to attend the school and my guess is a school calling you would make you wanna go there a little more</p>

<p>i agree with you completely, just like i said, I usually don’t post #'s and whatnot, why? because many times, sometimes on this site, you get an ear full about it, people blowing up because they got higher in this or this and whatnot.</p>
<p>thats why i usually don’t post that info. its a test, and if colleges truly want to be fair, then it shouldn’t dear so much weight (in no way am i referencing the UC’s, just saying that generally) because people like me (and maybe you) don’t function well with that specific test</p>

<p>I thought the calls were supposed to start the 16th, well thats what it said on the website</p>
<p>got the call, and they said the portal will have more info on friday in the afternoon. so maybe that is when all decisions comeout. I was driving away from my house then i get a call from my grandma and she tells me someone from ucsd is on the phone, so i booked it back home and he offered me admissions. I didn’t ask what college i got into though</p>

<p>It was right at 4:30 in Cali! I am not sure when they will be calling till…but he said they were calling some of the acceptees not all of them! I don’t know why I made my name poop I think I made this accounta long time ago ahaha</p>
