Fall 2011 Admission Decisions

What does everyone think the odds of SOMEONE that reads these forums getting a response today?

PS Macho - Let us know how it goes when you call today

Morning Forumers!

@Bernau, I checked my app online and I don’t see anywhere on the site that stated that my application is under review (maybe it is for CC not GS, since CC also gets the decisions posted online, I think). Let me know where it is that the “under review” is posted, if anyone knows. I know that my app is under review because I received an email, and I called AD to see if it meant anything, AD said it was irrelevant and they also checked my app and said that it was under review so that is how I found out.
Well everyone, I hope that today is a lucky day and we get some acceptance phone calls:) I mean seriously, I need to start planning what classes to take in the fall so that I can get the books and start studying before the semester starts. I will be switching jobs from a full time to a part time position, but I don’t want to start applying unless I know for sure … oh the pain of waiting!! (ouch, ouch, ouch…*)

I am selling my house and moving close to where I go to school and going from full to part time as well. And my second choice has a reply date of 5/1 too

Hey guys I just called and the admissions rep gave me the same generic response. She checked my application and said that it was “under review”, and that all decisions will be mailed by May 1. So basically, it sucks but we all have to wait until May 1 to really start calling and asking if something is wrong. Good luck everyone.

I say you should try and call the director or assistant director of admissions LOL

I guess guys that the best thing to do is to extend our expectations until May 5th. That will give us some peace of mind. Is tough but if we don’t expect a response prior to that date then we won’t lose our sanity. Instead let’s focus on a contingency plan for both possible outcomes.

I meant hold the expectations.

Calling off all air support.

@Veoh problem is my contingency needs to know before then LOL

WOW Baxter, that is a major life change…best of luck on your transition.
Thanks for letting us know Macho07. I guess that is the answer for everyone who applied EA. I feel better now:)

Well let’s hope we hear some decisions today…it is the end of the 4 to 6 week window that they like to give notice within

Everybody is quite today, probably because we know that we probably aren’t getting our decisions today LOL

lol! Sadly though, I think we’re all bummed out that it’s more than likely gonna be another week or two before another person is notified. First I get my hopes up for acceptance, then I get my hopes up for hearing about it by now. I guess they’re trying to teach us patience?? Que sera sera.

Well…fedex delivers till 1900. ;)

A little birdie told me…

Ugh! I want an answer!

…tweet tweet

@brohlijik you can call them and find out if there is a package on its way.

I wonder what is taking them so long to make the decisions this time around. Maybe we are all so qualified they have to find a way to justify admitting us all LOL

Can I find out if a FedEx package is on its way to my house?

Call FedEx say you lost your tracking number and they will ask you your address and name and should be able to tell if one is on the way or not
