Fall 2011 Admission Decisions

I’m looking forward to the free museum visits with our CUID…the Intrepid is getting a Space Shuttle

Thx Liz…
well to all, rest well this weekend and I will be in and out the forum. 'Till Monday! And congrats again to those who were admitted!:)

Goose morneen my dear Garfielder, and again congrats to the chosen ones!

Congratulations bax!

I’ve actually been working in restaurants for the past three or so years. I’ve been taking classes on a part-time schedule the past year and a half while working under a james beard-nominated (I hope after this year’s ceremonies, finally a james beard-winning) chef. I, too, have realized restaurant work is not a sustainable way for me to live, although I feel like food will be part of my future.

Another long weekend. Urgh!

I said I wouldn’t even look at the board this weekend. Who am I kidding!

I’m out birthday shopping for the wifey. Her birthday’s on Wednesday. I wish I knew my fate before then. Every day that passes hits hard, but I’ll keep fighting. I’ll hold my very positive hopes up until May 1st.

@Juniper I feel like food will be part of my future as well, just more likely as a passion and hobby lol

Goose morneen America! A new day of freshly developed ulcers, high blood pressure and manic depression is upon us, let the extreme paranoia set in, gather the strength and try not to tackle every fedex guy you see. And yes that is to include the drivers 5 zip codes away from you! Invic gas is high we can’t afford to chase down these trucks through 3 different counties. So patience! Patience I tell you!

Lol! Morning!
I promise to sit still as the wrath of uncertainty devours me whole for the rest of the week
Well… it’s a sunny day and I got the cold :o! some good news will certainly make for a good cure…
Hopefully one of us will hear today:)

Good luck to everyone today…hopefully you guys will start hearing today and joining Hal,Liz and I

thx Bax! …hopefully.

(crossing fingers…wishing, wishing, wishing* :D)

So who is left at this point? Invic, myself… Who else?

I’m still waiting for good news too…

Where’s James? Did he get an answer?

Haha no answer here. Still waiting. I’ll probably be last to hear.

Apparently we can get into the Guggenheim too with a CUID, sweet. @Liz Now I’m reminded of why I applied. I have one class (English) that’s in a computer lab, and today I couldn’t help but spend the entire time browsing the course catalog online instead of paying attention…these are the professors that you see when they guest lecture at other schools for one day only, lol.

On Facebook, GS said they would send out the final EA letters on May 2. They’re pushing right up against the deadline, and I think that’s a good thing if it means GS is taking the time to scrutinize and really read into essays. Better than the alternative of just screening for long lists of extracurriculars, anyway.

I will be an author, my book will be called:

The never ending story of the never ending wait… :(

Invic my heart is racing, I have a miss call from an unknown number lol

I meant missed. Good news. My mail box did nor have a rejection either :p

yeah Greathal the course catalog is making me all gooey inside. not joking. my insides are literally melting.

i have been spending my weekend googling things like “closest trader joes/costco/target/ikea to columbia”. i am a family (wo)man ya know. i dont know how people live without these things. also the idea of not having a car makes me physically ill.

and GUYS! you are going to get in! i just KNOW it! you have great stats. i definitely wouldnt assume anything rejection-esque until after may 2nd.

That would be really nice Liz I hope so ! I got a missed called from a unknown number. I called admissions but no one answers :(
